President/Director of Operations
Laura studied Technical Theatre at Brigham Young University-Idaho from 2001-2004, specializing in scenic art. She was the charge scenic artist for the BYU-Idaho Theatre Department from 2002-2003. Laura has been a member of the Minnesota Mormon Chorale since 2010 and has been President since Fall 2011. She teaches piano and voice in North Branch, MN.
Maggie graduated with an Associates of Science in Vocal Performance from McNally Smith College of Music in 2006. She later graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Music Therapy from Augsburg College in 2013. During her time at Augsburg Maggie sang and toured with the Augsburg Choir from 2010-2012 and sang with Masterworks Chorale from 2012-2013. Maggie is a Board Certified Music Therapist and worked for a private practice in the twin cities, teaches piano and voice from her home, and is an Independent Coach with Beachbody. Maggie has been a member of the MMC since January 2015, and has served as Vice President of the Board of Directors since September 2015.
Secretary / Financial Coordinator
Music has been a very important part of Marilyn’s life from a young age. She has been blessed to be in various choir groups, the most notable being MMC. She joined MMC in 2009 which inspired her to enroll in voice lessons. She will be performing her first vocal recital Sept 2015. Besides music, she enjoys gardening, reading and spending time with her family. She has been a member of the board since 2010. She is currently serving as Financial Coordinator.
John has been singing all his life in church choirs, school choirs, and small ensembles. Through his college years, he was always in the chamber singing groups. John was a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir from 1985-2005 which is the maximum tenure allowed. From 2006-2010, he was an assistant librarian in the Tabernacle Choir. John has been singing with the Minnesota Mormon Chorale since 2010 and librarian since 2011.
Albin has been Technical Director for the Chorale since 2011.
